After typing your topic into OneSearch, hit search and your results will pop up. You may notice you have a very large list to sort through. From the results page you can use the filtering tool on the left to limit your results. This can help you narrow your topic and weed out information you do not need, saving you time and stress.
A few great ways to filter and limit results include:
- Last five years
- Journal articles
- Scholarly/Peer-reviewed
Remember, you're aiming for less than 15,000 results in OneSearch. If you're still getting many more results than that, you may also consider narrowing your topic. For further help, please Ask a Librarian or Schedule a Research Appointment.
