What is a federal Direct Stafford Loan?
Answer
A federal student loan taken out through the Department of Education. This loan must be repaid. To be eligible a student must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours in program each semester. Repayment will begin 6 months after degree completion or 6 months after a student has fallen below 6 credit hours in a semester.
