Pellissippi State Community College Hardin Valley Library has student volunteer opportunities. No experience required, training provided by our friendly library staff. Work may entail scanning library material barcodes in shelving area for annual physical inventory (in early May), shelf reading to ensure that materials are in proper order, shifting library materials on shelves as collection expands/contracts, dusting library materials/shelving, seed sorting for our seed catalog, etc.
Volunteer hours are flexible (1-6 hours per day) and can be performed M-F, usually between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that the library is also open between semesters, so feel free to inquire about volunteer opportunities at any time of the year.
