There are a few things to ask yourself when evaluating a site for research:

Is this accurate/credible? Is there an author, institution, and contact information?

Is this current? What is the publish date, are the datasets recent, do the links work?

Is this accessible? Is the resource free? Were there any sign ups or requirements or ads to get through to see the information?
