You've found a physical book (not ebook) on OneSearch that looks great... How do you find it?

  1. Check the location to make sure you are in the right library
    • Creating your own monologue, Available at PSCC Hardin Valley Library Hardin Valley Stacks, 2nd Fl.
    • If you see "Reserve Room," ask at the library's desk for the book
  2. Write down the call number
    • Creating your own monologue, PN1530 .A48 1999
  3. Go to the bookshelves (AKA, the stacks)
  4. Shelves are arranged A-Z and each letter represents a field of study (ex. P is literature, Q is science), go to the first letter's section
  5. Within the letter's section, the books start again with PA-PZ, go to the second letter's section
  6. Numbers before the period represent a whole number, 1-9999, go to the number
    • Some call numbers have a number after the period, which is a decimal, go to the end of the number's section and the decimal will start with 1
