Although there is no daily fines charged for overdue materials, keeping materials 30 days past the due date will result in overdue notices and billing. First and second level overdue notices are emailed to students, faculty, and staff via your Pellissippi State email account. Third notices and bills are mailed to your home. Community borrowers and TBR/UT borrowers receive all notices in paper format.
Overdue notices include the cost to replace the item plus a $15.00 per item processing fee. Billed items may not be renewed. Overdue reserve items are billed one week after the due date and include a processing fee per item.
If the materials are returned in good condition within one year of the billing date, the replacement cost of the item is credited. The $15.00 per item processing fee is not credited or refunded. Outstanding bills are subject to college collection procedures and any resulting collection fees.
